 SUSPENSION PACKAGE

  • PACKAGE 1: Service forks and shock

    • Replace seals, bushes and shock bladder as needed

    • Replace shock bladder, all seals and bushes

    • Re-charge nitrogen

    • Change springs to suit rider weight.

    • Re-charge nitrogen

    • Change springs to suit rider weight

    • Re-valve shim stacks using our own custom valving or

    • Gold valve all stacks front and rear

An approximate cost for a bike is $1200 plus fitting.  Costs can increase if parts such as fork bushes need replacing and decrease if the springs are still suitable to your application.

Note:  All suspension adjustments are made to suit each rider’s current skill level and adjustments change as your skill level increases.

When servicing your suspension it pays to grease all your bearings and bushes.  The head stem bearings, swing arm and linkages all need to be lubricated thoroughly to get the best handling out of your machine.  Replacing all worn components is the best way to compliment your new suspension package. Here at Lee’s, we are more than happy to get your bike handling at it’s best. 

THE COMPLETE HANDLING PACKAGE

Includes suspension package 3, plus:

Remove triple clamps, clean and grease existing bearings or replace them, refit triple clamps.

Remove swing arm, clean and grease existing bearings or replace them, refit swing arm.

Remove swing arm linkage, clean and grease existing bearings or replace them. Refit linkage.

 Note: 90% of all motocross bikes we see have worn or completely destroyed linkage bearings.  When did you last check yours?

ENGINE PERFORMANCE PACKAGE

  • Package 1: Top end freshen up

    • Tear-down engine top end

    • Inspect cam and valve train

    • Inspect bearings and seals

    • Inspect piston, rings, conrod and barrel

    • Replace or recondition valves and valve seats

    • Replace valve springs, piston, rings and cam chain

    • Re-assemble top end, Reset valve clearances

  • Package 2: Complete engine freshen up

    • Tear-down engine top end

    • Inspect cam and valve train

    • Inspect bearings and seals

    • Inspect piston, rings, rod and barrel

    • Tear-down engine bottom end and split cases

    • Inspect all engine components

    • Replace all bearings and crankshaft

    • Re-assemble bottom end

    • Replace or recondition valves and valve seats

    • Replace valve springs, piston, rings and cam chain

    • Re-assemble top end, Re-shim valve clearances

  • Package 3: Top end performance upgrade(available in different stages)

    • Includes top end freshen up

    • Port cylinder head to stage 1,2 or 3

    • Fit high compression piston

    • Blueprint engine

    • Compression improvements

    • Fit performance cam shaft and dial in for desired power

    • Dyno tune

  • NOTE:  Engine development can be a costly and time consuming exercise but with some patience and the right attitude, incredible results can be achieved.  With the right approach we can build you a hot, reliable engine that will see you getting the results you’re chasing time and time again.  The above packages are just examples of what we can do.  As each build is different the work put into each job will vary.

DYNO TUNING

Dyno tuning is the best way to optimize the performance of your modified motorcycle.  We can fit and tune aftermarket fuel and ignition systems, exhausts, camshafts and carburetors etc.  There are massive gains to be had by tuning your bike that has any modifications and we will strive to get the most out of your engine. 

 
Basic Dyno tune:  Run bike graphing horsepower, torque and air/fuel

                          Tune carb / EFI optimally within setup supplied, load map to tuning module

Advance Dyno tune:  Run bike graphing Hp, torque and air/fuel

                              Tune carb / EFI optimally within setup supplied, load map to tuning module

                             Custom tune fitting tuning module with our own maps

                             Tune ignition (mostly for highly modified bikes, cams etc)
